The Blomdahl Ear Piercing System is designed for patients concerned with the health risks associated with ear piercing like blood borne viruses and nickel allergies. This ear piercing system is simple. Each earring is sealed in a sterile, single-use cartridge. Along with our ear piercing gun, the earring stud is used as the piercing device. In one easy trigger pull, our medical professionals will pierce the patient’s ears which locks the earring back. And when topical anesthetic is used, the ear piercing is virtually pain-free!

Topical Anesthetic

You may choose local anesthetic to reduce the discomfort, We apply local anesthetic and allow it to remain on the ear for 30 minutes, maximizing its effect. The patient may experience a pinch and stinging sensation, similar to a vaccination. Most patients do not require any further pain medication.

Ear Piercing Using Medical Grade Plastic Earrings

Since all metals contain nickel, at least as impurities, we offer medical plastic. This material is recommended for patients who want to be absolutely sure that they will not develop nickel allergy during the healing period. Medical grade plastic is 100% nickel free.

Ear Piercing Using Medical Grade Titanium Earrings

Titanium is tolerated well by the body, making it popular for ear piercings. We use homogeneous (non-plated) medical grade titanium because of its superior non-allergenic characteristics and durability.
